[SOLVED] Is my PrestaShop the latest stable version?

Hello guys,
I'm a new user of PrestaShop and confused about 2 things. Sorry if they're too obvious or mentioned in the earlier post.

-How can i know if my PrestaShop is the latest stable version? I went to backoffice and tried to find which version i'm using but didn't find that information.
-Can i integrate a payment method other than Paypal?


I sent an email about them to a programmer who installed Prestashop for me but he hasn't responded for few weeks. So, i've decided to post them here with hope of someone would help me.

latest stable is 1.2.5 see your version in footer line of back office.

you can have as many payment methods as you wish.

if you need any help setting up you may send me a PM. I will respond faster than weeks :-)

Thanks a lot for the help. There's no information in the back office footer. Maybe the programmer removed it? If so, what would you do?
I'm glad that it's possible to integrate other payment mehtods, i will definitely contact you when i need to install a payment gateway within 2-3 weeks time.

if it was installed after september 2009, most probably it is 1.2.5. Also somewhere in database there's a version no.

Two other ways you can check what version of Prestashop you are using is to look at the top of CHANGELOG in the root of Prestashop or to download config/settings.inc.php off your server and check the value of "_PS_VERSION_".

thank you very much, i found the version number in the changelog file. it's 1.2.5. I'm glad that mine is the stable one.
