Bleep
I was just wondering when I upload a picture, why does prestashop add on an extra 10kb? I am creating the sizes in photoshop to match the largest size I want, but it still makes the file sizes larger? Any ideas? Thanks
pcbob
Rory there is no need to resize your pics as presta shop creates the 6 required to view.To see this you will find them all in your img/p folder - your original pic will be found in img/tmp
Bleep
Hi Bob! Yeah, I understand what you are saying, and I to take advantage of it, but what I don't understand, is why when I upload the one and only original picture it gets larger by at least 10KB. For example, a typical file size for one of my product info pages is 13kb and they are 305 px by 450 px, which is the largest size I use for the whole site. However, the picture that gets placed on the product page is about 25KB. Why has it become so much larger in file size? This is what I don't understand. Thanks.- rory Rory there is no need to resize your pics as presta shop creates the 6 required to view.To see this you will find them all in your img/p folder - your original pic will be found in img/tmp
