Scotty501 Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 Hi All,I have been asked by a friend if I could make him a site where he sells vinyl records - its really only a small part time business - so I thought Open Source would be the way to go. I have a shortlist down to OXID, Open Cart and of course Prestashop.I was going to build a normal HTML site and add paypal buttons to products etc - but he wants to be able to add new products without me having to change the layout each time. Is Prestashop the right OS for this? He would like to be able to add albulm covers, and also a mp3 sample of each albulm/track - again is Prestashop right for this?I am thinking by using Prestacom it would be like other php software I have used where editing of templates can be done, and therfore removes the need for me to build a HTML site and add a cart - I can just use Prestashop for the site entirely.
