Help with attribute/quantity issue

I've posted this before, with no response, and if I can't get this cleared up i'm going to have to switch from Presta to something else because I really want to get my shop up and running...

 

 

Most of my products are one-of-a-kind, but each item has a few different options to choose from, including two options that are set at a higher price. I've gotten them all entered under he attributes tab. I wanted to know if there was a way to set the quantity of my product at 1, while still keeping the options in the drop-down menu with the price variations, but once the product is sold it is sold. I'm hitting a roadblock because it looks like Presta is making me set each "attribute" at a quantity of one. I have four attributes, but not four products available. I might be going about this the wrong way, and I hope I explained this properly. Thank you!

Yes. I just want to add attributes (with different pricing) to one product listing, not have one product per attribute. Maybe I'm not explaining this correctly.

Your are explaining it correctly, but what you (and many others) want isn't possible with PS. It is a ridiculous oversight that has never been addressed and means that we cannot use PS to sell custom products like yours.
