Currency shown twice on products with attributes?!

Hi, I recently noticed that on product details pages of products with attributes the currency after the price is shown twice. On products without attributes there aren't any issues. Please take a look at the attached pictures below:

My coding skills are equal to zero but from the code I inspected I am suspecting rich snippets related issue?!? I followed Nemos' guide on his blog to implement the snippets but I didn't notice any issues so far until yesterday. 

 

Please help me solve the issue !
