Product has 5/5 stars, Google shows 2/5

Dear Prestashop community,

 

I collected several positive feedback for some of my products, and the products had been rated 5 of 5 stars trough the webshop, using default-boostrap theme 1.6

 

When I search on the product, and find my product, on Google it shows only 2/5 stars

It happens to all of the rated products

This can be damaging my business and i'm looking for a solution

 

anyone have any idea why this problem occurs?

Check if you have other snippets in the page. Is it always reading 2? There might be something interfering, like some related product. Or, snippets might not be properly configured. Are you using the productcomments module that comes with Presta?

I'm not so technical, so i'm afraid I cannot check if the snippets are properly configured

The module i'm using is the default module 'Product comment'

 

What I can remember: I changed default stars from 3 to 5, because some customers just place comments without changing the stars

Maybe this can cause the problems

 

And yes, it's always reading 2/5 stars on Google

When I got my first TrustedReview rating it was 5 stars however within Google and TrustedReviews my "average" rating only showed 3 stars. When I checked I was told that they purposely rate it lower but every additional 5 star rating would bump it up until eventually you reach an average 5 star rating. There was some maths behind it but I can't remember now. Could this be related to your issue?
