Left / right column configuration missing in theme / advanced

Hello,

 

when upgrading to 1.6.1 it is impossible to define which elements to display in the left / right column, the list is too short and over 3/4 of the entries that should be there are missing.

 

A few years back Vekia had posted a SQL query to run that did fix a similar error (redundant positions in the list), which worked like a charm.

 

@ Vekia - would this solution also work for 1.6.1 ? And would you mind posting it again, the search function on the forum does not turn up the right results.

solution that i posted was related to first releases of prestashop 1.6.x

it works in the same way today in prestashop 1.6.1.1

thanks for your quick reply! I wasn't sure which PS version it was, I just remembered it was a while back. Did you post the solution on this forum? The search function returned a 1000 threads, but not the one with your SQL query.

I didn't find Vekia's SQL query, but I noticed that installing a custom theme (Warehouse) did fix the issue too. I assume that the template installation runs a left / right columns configuration script, and that restored the missing entries from the database.
