thfmartin
When any of my customers login to the ‘My Account’ area (where they can view order history, add delivery addresses, etc.), I would to display news from my MailChimp newsletter or entries from my blog.Do any one of you know of module which can do that? Or maybe a widget where I just can add some HTML code? Thanks,Martin

thfmartin
One that comes with the theme I use. It's called "Blog module v1.6.6 - by SUNNYTOO.COM". I have attached a screen shot of the installed blog modules. Thanks, Martin
gabdara
You could edit the blog module code and add a function hookDisplayCustomerAccount in which you decide what you want to display in the My account page. Then hook the module to position displayCustomerAccount.
thfmartin
You could edit the blog module code and add a function hookDisplayCustomerAccount in which you decide what you want to display in the My account page. Then hook the module to position displayCustomerAccount. It sounds like this could be the solution. It's however not something I have any experience with. Is there anywhere I can find a guide for this or is it something you can help me with? Thank you, Martin
gabdara
To understand how modules support hooks you could start from here: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Displaying+content+on+the+front+office . ...
