tomlar1977
Hi there! I can't edit the backoffice translations because of a limit of 5000 in max_input_vars . The hosting provider (one.com) won't change that, and I can't use the .htaccess hack - so what do I do now? Is there some kind of way to edit the files by hand, or as that a no-go? Would really not like to change hosting provider right now...! /Tommy
tdr170
Have you tried adding a php.ini to the root of your shop, here is a file I created for another member with your issue. Rename file to php5.ini or php.ini different host require different names or so I'm told. (can not upload .php renamed to .txt) php5.txtFetching info... Some host don't allow this but worth a shot. vekia
you can find a lot of topics here related to this problem a lot of them are solved just search for "max input vars" here, and check topics marked as solved you will find solution to your problem there

That didn't change anything :/ Do you know if it's possible to change the files locally using a texteditor, and upload them again - and how, if possible? /Tommy
