Left column on each subcategory page

Hi,

 

I turn on left column for category page and it works for my main categories but i doesn't for subcategories. How can I turn it for them?

have you got some modules associated with this column?

or you've got there only block categories module?

this is why column doesnt appear

if there is nothing to show - left column will not appear.

 

your block categories module doesnt appear if there is no subcategories to display.

if you want to display it all the time, reconfigure the module.

 

on module configuration page you can select what kind of tree module will display (all categories, subcategories only etc.)

have you checked the module confiugration page for options related to module appearance?

Yes, but it shows only parent category and I want all categories.

so, there is an option to select category root

select "home" 

 

otherwise there will be nothing to show on category pages without subcategories.

Hi Vekia, 

 

I have the same problem, however, I have the block layered module installed for my left column. 

For some reason it doesn't show on my subcategories pages.. Please help. Im getting frustrated, looked up all the files I know and can't find a reason!
