Prestashop 1.6.1.0 Hide price from group not working.

Hello i'm setting a prestashop for a client but i hit a snag. Hiding the price for certain groups doesn't hide the price.

Could anyone please help me solve this.

I just checked my test site and changed visitor to not show prices and no prices are showing.

Make sure you turn cache off and turn force compile on and clear your cache.

I have no idea why but it ain't working. I have done both things you said but the price still shows . i'm using the default theme.

Isn't there a way to set this setting from the database? or from a config file? or a way to see what is causing this behaviour.

I just took a look in the database and the setting is set to 0 . So i guess the settings are right. what else could cause this problem?

Issue solved. There is an extra setting in Advanced Parameters > Performance > Optional that needs to be enabled.

Thank you for the Hint! Is the same right now in Prestashop 1.7. I'm going crazy for this hidden settings of PS!!! if  "Customer groups" in "Advanced Parameters > Performance > Optional" is not on YES, you can hide Prices for groups.
