Prestashop keeps loading after upgrade to 1.6.1.1

I just upgraded my shop to 1.6.1.1 and on pages where the spinning wheel (for loading stuff) is located the spinning wheel never stops spinning.

THis can be for example when searching for a module in module section or when payment options should be loaded in checkout.

Does someone know what might be wrong?

I have similar problem. In my case, it happens always in backoffice (similar as your problem), but the wheel located on the parrot (left-up corner) never finish of spinning and the page never finish of loading.

Sometimes it takes 20 seconds, sometimes 30 seconds, sometimes never finish, sometimes it does not happen! Ramdomly!

 

It did not happen on Prestashop 1.6.1.0, so I think is a bug from 1.6.1.1; but I couldn't find official info about that.

 

I hope Prestashop team say anything about that, and about 1.6.1.2

this spinning wheel is related to AJAX queries that are loaded in background

to see whats up with them turn on browser console (ctrL+shift+j) then try to reproduce issue

paste console results here, will see whats up then

After several time of refreshing, I could experienced the issue one time more.

32,78 seconds for the first element, the rest load quickly after that.

It happended almost the 10th time (as I said several times, it happens randomly), and I think it does not happen in the FO.

Normally, this happens after upgrade the platform.

First thing to do is try to clear your browser cache.

 

If not working, read the browser console according to @vekia instructions.

 

I saw your screenshot but, you must post the screenshot of console tab. The tab on your screenshot is the network log, not the "console".

Yes, the issue occurs randomly. Not always when clicking a button in the backoffice, not always when clicking the same button.

What happen is what I posted on my previous screenshot, 20-30 seconds of loading without any reason, and suddenly everything loads in miliseconds. I have also seen the "network" tab as omine mentioned (thanks for that @omine ), and I can only see one url (from the button clicked) and no errors.

Make sure you clear your browser cache and prestashop cache under the performance tab. Quick and simple troubleshoot so you can tell if its just an issue on your end of things.

Hi Guys,

i found this thread that seems to be related with my problem as well . The parrot keep spinning all the time even if the page is completely loaded . This is only happen under catalog>products

@DiverseSolution, just press F5 on your brower.
Did you tried the solutions above? Clear the browser cache, normally solve this issue.

@Omine i tried that and did not work . I checked in errror.log and i saw a module that gives problem with ajax code . I disabled that module and issued solved .
