Copying a product to create a new product

Hi there,

Does anybody know if there is a way to copy a product in order to create a new one. This is useful if your descriptions, prices etc are all the same but the individual products different (only by title and picture in my case).

Any ideas appreciated,

yes just duplicate the product you need to be the same under catalog page and click on the green plus to duplicate, it then will ask you if you want also all pictures and attributes to be duplicated as well and once you have duplicated it, click on the new one and edit the description to be different. this similar as creating a new product but with the advantage that all description, meta tags/titles , tags, and so on are already there; it really saves a lot of time.
