Integrating PayPal without a Module

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am needing to integrate Pay Pal without using a module (am based in New Zealand so there are none available for this region). It would be the 'Web Payments Standard', where the entire cart is redirected to Paypal rather than the 'Buy Now' on each individual product. How long does it take to set up and is it very difficult to complete?

I will need to get someone to do it for me as I can't code, and have been told by some web developers it would take them a day to learn the platform so it would be at least 1-2 days work.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Stephanie

Hi El Patron,

Thank you for your response, I had looked at the EU module but as it is for the European region I did not think it would work, just as the USA one is only for the USA, Canada and Mexico. Also on the module page it has a list of all the countries it is available for, New Zealand is not one of them.

New Zealand is usually classed as being Oceania, Pacific or Australasia region. I would be happy to use a module if it would work!

Thanks again,

Stephanie

Hi Stephanie, I understand it's confused many people that the EU module is for everyone not in US/Canada/Mexico.  But the EU module will work fine for you.

Happy day, el

Thanks El Patron,

You would think if it worked for the rest of the world they would re-name it, or at least add in the description that it's for so many countries (other than just listing those in the EU).

I've just downloaded it so fingers crossed it works out alright :)
