White block over bottom headings - How do I remove it?

Hi,

 

I have a white block over the section of the shop on all pages which says 'Categories, information, my account, store information'. 

 

This results in the text being unable to be seen on a monitor (Although the functions are fine on an iPhone).

 

I've looked through the documentation, and spent three hours trying to find something that will either allow me to remove the white block, or change the colour of the text, but to no avail. Can someone tell me how to alter this?
