dm_antti
Hello. I'm having a weird problem with my Prestashop. When arriving to the product page on one certain category, the URL gets extra forward slash. Like this: domain.com/category//subcategory/product.html The extra forward slash only appears on the product pages in one specific subcategory. If I create a new subcategory and place a product in there, there are three forward slashes. So the URL looks like this: domain.com/category///new-subcategory/product.html I'm using Advanced URL module to clean up the URLs and I've also used Prestashop StoreManager to create the categories and handle the products. I've been scratching my head for a while with this one, so all help is welcome. Edited August 17, 2015 by dm_antti (see edit history)
bellini13
Advanced URL module Perhaps you should reach out to the module developer?
dm_antti
Thank you for the reply. I've already contacted the developer who has been really helpful, but the problem is not solved yet. It's weird because, like I said in the first post, the problem only appears on one certain category.. I'm going to update Prestashop from 1.6.0.14 to 1.6.1.0 - maybe it helps. bellini13
Does the issue occur without the use of the custom third party module?
dm_antti
It seems like I was able to fix the problem. I'm still testing if I broke something, but there were some weird unused categories haunting in the database with parent ID 0. After deleting these categories the URL problem disappeared.
