Enable stock management only for certain products?

Hi,

 

I'm trying to find out if it's possible in prestashop 1.6 to enable stock management only for certain products.

 

Basically some of the products don't require stock management and some do, so would it be possible to enable the stock management only for the products that require it?

 

Is there a way to adapt the code perhaps to do this?

 

I've searched the forums and can't find anything.

It's way to much work to adapt the code to support this.

 

Easiest way to achive this, would to enable stock, add a Million in stock for the products that dosent need stock, and real stock for that need it.

 

Or if it don't matter to you. Allow ordering out of stock, disable the out of stock mail in status. Then only add stock to the products that needs it

Thanks for the reply madman, I was thinking the same. I guess the million stock option is best as the products that need stock will need to show out of stock really.
