Sinnans
Hi All, I am new to prestashop, I have working experience of different opensource CMS softwares.I have been able to add multiple currency options in backend very easily. Their ISO code / conversion factors perfectly added. However I am not able to change these currency formats from front end of the store. I have tried it on two browsers Chrome and Firefox I also tried browsing (Chrome) it from a remote computer in New Yourk with a newly installed Windows and Chrome. I tried after clearing cache and cookies But no success. I have a very new store setup and exploring features on prestashop store. Main reason to explore prestashop are its good options for Localization Currency / Country and language settings. I would really like to bring my store on prestashop if I am able to use these features. Kindly help. I believe this is very basic feature it should be working fine with no problem. I might be missing something. Can it be issue of the default theme? My shop is accessible on this link. http://simransinnan.pswebstore.com/ Thanks. Sinnans
Can you better explain what you are trying to do, or what you can't do? Hello Bellini13, The visitor on front end is not able to change the currency. http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/927/1633880078.jpg Where as you can see that I have able to add successfuly multiple currencies from backend. These currency options are showing up in currency selector menu but when I click to change other currency nothing happens it always kept the default currency. Thanks. Dagorlad
I also have this problem since upgrading my shop to 1.6.1.0 last week. If a user logs in to the store then they can change the currency to whatever they choose, but guests who don't log in cannot change it. EDIT: I set the option 'Set default country from browser language' to No in the Localization page and that fixed the problem. EDIT: I set the option 'Set default country from browser language' to No in the Localization page and that fixed the problem. I cannot reproduce this in a new installation of PS 1.6.1. Native PS will not change language if present in visitor cookie. Maybe classes/Tools.php did not upgrade correctly.
