Double redirect with SSL

Recommended Posts

i have SSL on my domain activated, when i enter http://domain.com then im redirected to http://www.domain.com THEN to https://www.domain.com'>https://www.domain.com which is main domain

so its double redirect, how to skip redirect to http://www. - it should go straight to https://www.

its worse when i enter subpage http://domain.com/subpage

then im redirected to http://www.domain.com/subpage where 404 shows up then its redirected to https://www. but still with 404 because ?controller=404 is added to url

i know what is the reason - in back office - in multistore i have:

domain: www.domain.com
ssl domain: www.domain.com

and "final url" http : // www.domain.com IT CANNOT BE CHANGED

which is really stupid ! version 1.6 of software and still with terrible bugs like this ? shame

What do you mean it can not be changed ?

Final url can not be changed because in is result of fields before , but you should be able to change domain part and leave just  domain.com

And for redirection non-www to www check

I use all the domains without "www" and everything works fine for me, I have multistore with multidomain configuration and SSL enabled, all is good for me.

Maybe your problem is with not enough testing before shouting.

I have spent two days with various tests until I have configured everything properly. So from my side of view PrestaShop can work fine :-)
