Appwards
Hi, I've just translated my first PrestaShop module (using PS 1.6.1.0 and 1.6.0.8) according to the documentation (http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/Module+translation) That documentation states: "Once all strings for your module are correctly translated, click on the "Update translation" button at the top." But I can't find that button for the life of me. Nor could I find anything in the code that could hint at where to find this functionality. Thanks in advance for your response! Appwards
Hm... I think I found something, but it doesn't work very well, so that's probably not it either... Anyway, I found that when you save this page, a file is generated in <your prestashop root folder>/themes/<that theme>/modules/<your module>/translations/ Copying/pasting that file into my module's /translations/ directory satisfies the module validator, but it only seems to work for the module's "home page". Not for the other page's that all are served through the "getContent" method too, just like that "home page". Also the content served through a hook doesn't get translated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And updated documentation too Edited August 6, 2015 by mennobb (see edit history)
