[SOLVED] - Installed but cannot access front or back end

Recommended Posts

OK, I have finally got it installed but when I clicked on the links to the front and back ends I got HTTP500 errors. Any ideas? I have Prestashop sitting in a folder called prestashop within my public_html.

I took a break and today I went back to the beginning and started again. I downloaded Filezilla and used that for the upload and learnt about permissions and set them to 777. Once I had done this every step went smoothly including the test email. I now have full access to the front and back end. Now I need to learn how to configure it all.

I had even had issues trying to get Wamp to run but discovered a port conflict on Port 80 with Skype so now that is working too.

Today is a good day
