ViViD
Hello, I'm using latest version of prestashop and advanced stock management. I have three warehouses with one central warehouse/shop. but I need to moderate these three with priority because the two second and third are far from the central office. But when I add test order, the order decreases the product stock from another warehouse without my choice. I have to check if I had not the stock in central office to transfer a new bunch of that product from far warehouse to shop, so the order should decrease stock availability from specific centeral office. I Choosed the default warehouse from the settings>products but it still sticks to decrease product from the warehouse I firstly added (far one with no priority). In product page I choose all three warehouses in the stock section, because a same product title may be distributed in three locations. Or I cannt move the stocks between warehouses. Is there a way to have priority for different warehouses in relation to order? I searched a lot but I didn't find anything. lozal2244
I'm very interested in this question. Actually I'm developping a tool for my module to be able to have priorities between warehouses. The warehouses on prestashop are totally incomplete and it's very difficult to understand the things that prestashop does about double orders, for example. I hope someone from the prestashop developers could answer why it is so confusing.
travv tree
I have the similar annoyance. I need to change the default warehouse for different customer. If it can not be free change, I want to know how to use the advance stock management effectively?

I solved my problem of the topic by unassigining (shipping methods) from the two other far warehouses. So The broblem solved basically. Now I can do movements and my central output shop is just one. About your problem, If I think right you can assign specific usergroup to specific shipping method and assign the ship method to specific warehouse, so it should solve the problem by a secondary method. When a user in a specific usergroup is able to use specific shipping method of specific warehouse so there is no way for the sofware to decrease stock amount from that specific warehouse!
