Many problems with modules. My account not displaying, category block disappears after opening a cat

Hello,

I just upgraded from 1.4.7 to 1.6.0.14. Made a test directory and a copy of the original database. After that I uograded the database to the current version.

So, after a few little problems the site was finaly online! But then came the modules and positions....

The My Account block is never been visible, no mather what I did. In Live edit I will see the rectangular for the My Account. But on the normal view I don't see anything. Even with firebug I can't see the div for the account block.

Also the category block is having problems just like the search block. On the home page they are visible but when I click one of the categories, the both disappear. In the settings for the positions there are no excluded pages.

 

Anyone an idea?

Hi

 

Did you upgrade the modules before you upgraded the site?

 

I've had similar problems in the past that were solved by updating all the modules before updating the site

As far as I know the complete site is new, nothing from the old one. But I'll try to copy the modules again from the new version.

Unfortunaly it didn't help. Copied all the modules from te zip file (modules and themes->default-bootstrap->modules) but it didn't help.

Also a strange thing... On the home page, the categories are visible. But opening some category or a product, the categories dissapear.. huuh?
