Upgrade v1.3.7.0 To 1.4.11.0 (Please Help)

Hello, 

 

I am trying to upgrade my store from v1.3.7.0 To 1.4.11.0 but i have run in to an issue, using wamp server i have i have set up a local test in my upgrade but each time i try to upgrade prestashop via the install i get these two error messages. (attached below).

 

I have no idea what has caused these issues or how to fix them.

 

Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated

i believe the problem is that you are using newer software technology that did not exist when v1.4.11 was released (newer php, newer mysql etc...).

 

Why are you upgrading to v1.4 anyway?  Why not use 1.6?

Hello bellini13, 

 

I thought it would be safer to upgrade to 1.4 then 1.5 then 1.6. i shall try a direct upgrade to 1.6 and report back.

Unfortunately i cant directly upgrade to 1.6 as i need to be at 1.4 before i can upgrade that high. 
I shall look for an older version of wamp server and see if that helps

I downgraded my WAMP server to 2.1e, the same version as used in this video

Unfortunately i now get this error

You may have to:

1. Fix the error(s) displayed
2. Put your database backup
3. Modify the file settings.inc.php to put the old version for the line with _PS_VERSION_
4. Restart the upgrade process from the begining

 

I have tried this with versions
1.4.11.1 and 1.4.11.0

I really dont know where to go from here, i would appreciate any ones help on getting this fixed.
