idm1
Hi I have moved my prestashop to a new host and domain. I am getting this error: This webpage has a redirect loop ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS I have updated the url in the database and the settings in settings.inc.php. I have also cleared the cache folder and recreated the .htaccess file. Still no luck. Anything else I can try? The back office is working fine. What is causing the redirect? Chaniyth
You have to set Enable SSL to Yes in BO > Preferences > General and also you have to enable the force all pages to SSL. This issue has been an on going issue for along time with Prestashop i've filed a bug report over a year ago about it but it was scoffed at and never properly fixed when it really should be because it IS a bug. On the gernal tab next to Enable SSL, it says: Please click here to use HTTPS protocol before enabling SSL. When I click on that it takes me to a random website anything else I can try? many thanks
