Internal server error

Hello gurus

I am new to Prestashop, and just wanted to check it out. I am trying Prestashop 1.3.0 Alpha 2.

I have a problem, when I try to add a product to the catalog I get an HTTP 500 server error.

Have I some error in my setup? During the install the check goes OK. I am able to import products from a CSV file. I am able to add other things like manufacturers and suppliers.

Anyone have any good ideas?

The majority of the time, error 500 is related to file permissions.

You can find out the exact error from your server's error log (usually found in your host's cPanel).

If you need help understanding the error, just paste it here, and to make sure you are looking at the right error, access the page that shows the error, and right away open the error log.
