When uploading images,page becomes blank!

When I uploading a product image,the uploading pages become blank,anyone know what is wrong with it?

I did it on the local website,someone said change folder limit right to 777,but I don't konw how to do it locally.

Is it turning black right away, or is it uploading the file first?

How big is the file?

Does it work on the actual server and only fails locally?

What do you use to run prestashop locally?
