Adding domain name

Mispinked

Question

Dear all,

I am hosting my store on Prestashop Cloud.

On my Cloud admin panel, I added my domain. Followed the instructions to add 192.99.143.140 to my domain account with A record type. This is what I am facing right now.

When I load my website without www, it says "Bad Request"

When I load my website with www, it leads me to cloud admin panel.

What is going on?

Request without www (shortcut). This should be added to DNS panel of your domain. Please contact your domain provider, i.e. where you bought your domain.

Try to change all records, not only A record to Prestashop IP. If nothing changes, than contact your provider for support or use the support option (support tab) of your Prestashop CLOUD ACCOUNT panel, something is going wrong with redirection of your domain to Prestashop Server.

This is really weird.

I'm trying to load the website using Chrome on my mobile now and this is what i faced.

When i load with www, it says error.

When i load without www, it loads my webstore maintenance notice page (correct)

Is it still a problem with my domain provider?

Ok i have a clearer picture now.

My domain is registered at namecheap.com. i added that domain to my prestashop admin panel and got the instruction to add the ip address to my domain provider url forwarder settings.

Under @, i added the ip and set A zone.

Under www, i also added the ip and set A zone.

Technically i should go to my webstore regardless whether people load my website with or without www. But this is what I'm facing now.

Without www, it loads to my webstore maintenance page (correct)

With www, it loads to my prestashop admin panel.

Also, for the loading of my webstore without www, when the page loads, the address bar shows the prestashop url. How do i keep it as my domain name?
