how to NOT defer/move to footer certain scripts?

Hi! I usually activate the move to footer option for scripts.
Though often I would need a better control over what scripts should go on the footer. Specifically, sometimes I need to set some window vars before my scripts, sometimes after.
Is there a way to at least 'deactivate' the defer mode for some scripts?
