Why do Prestabox users get a 2nd class service?

I signed up to prestabox as it seemed good value for money and with little programming knowledge and time ideal for me to get my shop online and taking orders.
I have since found a couple of third party modules which i wanted to use, but can't because we can't add them.
we don't have access to our site via FTP either, which i think prestashop should offer so we can clear up files like pictures or add 3rd party modules.
plus once i get a bit better with the programming language i want to be able to get a bit more hands on.
If anybody can help i would be grateful, although i am not looking to move my site.
Prestashop should give use these extras as it will improve what i have read on the forum from other prestabox users. Were valid prestashop users, but seems like were 2nd class.

I am not sure what you mean here but, two points presta shop is open source software so you haven’t paid for it, so you can harldy expect a high standard, yet saying this I have only posted a few times here as I am new to presta shop, but have always had helpful replies.
I am also not sure what you mean about the not having access to your ftp files inst this depending on who you host your site with, I use presta shop and can certainly edit any files I want to ??
