I do need some help

Complete newbie here in desperate need of help...
I am trying to find out
1) is it posssible to have : CATEGORYSUB-GATEGORY/SUB SUB CATEGORY/PRODUCT . I need to sub divide some sub categories
2) At this stage I am trying to use pretashop as a product selector. It is a kind of charity swap to avoid throwing things away . Products will be listed. There is no buying price (so I would like to get rid of the unit price. They select the product and put them in the cart (again no shopping basket cost). In exchnage they will provide me with items they want to get rid of which I'll upload on the site....... Not very clear xplanation .... sorry.
3) some products might not have photos. Is it posible to list a product with description only and no large empty photoframe?
