vekia
what is the exact module name from your back office? you should be able to do it with default "translations" tool available here: localization > translations on that page - from dropdown select "installed modules translations"

I can change each product individually, but the global default setting for out of stock products is show In Stock. Any ideas?

gius3pp3
Same problem. Product quantity 0 but is possible to order, with more time for delivery. Preferences --> Product --> Allow ordering of out-of-stock products: Box is ticked yes Cart displayed correctly Translation text when out of order: Please allow up to 40 days delivery But message about out of order is not showed. If I change "Allow ordering of out-of-stock products" to "Refuse ordering of out-of-stock products" the message of out of order is showed correcty. How can I show the message of out of order allowing ordering of out-of-stock products? After about 2 years, nobody find the solution? Hope someone can help. alexandrabatrak
This ridiculous issue with "allow ordering" is annoying. The problem with it also that customer can add products out of stock into the cart and proceed with payment, and then get notified about product being on order. The solution to this could be limit quantity of product possible add to cart to the quantity in stock. But then, it needs to show out of stock/preorder label - and why doesn't it?? I my case I have issues even with "in stock" label showing only on the product-list page, on the product page itself it is invisible, and when i change css to "display:block", it is sized 18px*0px. Same problem. Product quantity 0 but is possible to order, with more time for delivery. gorkij77
Yeah, this seems to be an ongoing issue. Like most similar problems with PrestaShop I gather we'd either have to hack it, or multiedit ALL out-of-stock-texts per item via, say, PresTools or like 99% of the time when something's just supposed to work : Buy a module for 50$ for it? Seriously. More than two years on this issue? If stock = 0, then it's not IN STOCK. Changing the translation of Out of stock to, say "OOS, Preorder available" should fix all issues but doesn't.
