Sorting attributes

when I view my product, I will like to sort attributes the same way I see it in Attributes generator

So far I have found out how it don't sort

1. The way I add attributes in combination generator
2. By attributes group name
3. By attributes public name

Next step to find out how it is sorted, and how to change it, can you help

I have a module that does that, and also lets you copy attribute from one product to another (or to all the products in a category).
