Change product quantity without sending notification email

Is it possible to change quantity of product without sending notification email (that product is available again ?) when product is out of stock

I mean i dont want to disable notifications but i want to use them when i will have high quantity, because when i will find let say only 1 piece of product, and 100 customers are waiting for it then when i will update stock directly in back office then all 100 emails will be sent and this would be stupid.

On prestashop 1.4 i've added single pieces to stock by using module quickupdate - this module updated quantities directly in sql database so notifications were not activated

But for prestashop 1.6 i cant find such a module
