Scays Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Hi, im fairly new to this, ill do my best to explain. I bought my domain from Crazy Domains, SSL from GoDaddy and hosting through Relentless.com I downloded the Prestashop files and uploaded them to my host server and logged in an installed prestashop without any issues. The problem is that i have bought a new theme (01Oslo) to use which i have put quite a few hours into but it is not linked to my own domain URL... my own domain links back to the temporary URL given to me by my host provider... and the website that shows up is not the new theme (01Osle) i purchased and have worked on but the old "defaultbootstrap" theme that comes standard. In the Prestashop "my domains" page i have added my own URL but its status is still "Waiting for DNS" ( i updated both nameservers on the domain registar website provided by my host 6 days ago) and the URL thats displayed on the "My Store" page ends with a ".pswebstore.com" Im at a bit of a loss as to where ive gone wrong.. ive spoke with the host and they said everything is fine on their end. I hope someone understand what ive written and that it makes some sort of sense. Basically... i want my site self hosted (which im 99.9% sure i set up correctly) i must have missed something though. razaro Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Sounds to me that you mixed two things, Prestashop Cloud and self hosted Prestashop. You said you uploaded files and installed Prestashop, then you can access back office ? Think you should check Preferences > SEO & URL's and enter you temporal url there. And links "My Domain" on this website leads to Cloud version so if you add url there you should remove it. Note that those actions with url could take some time to proccess.
