joecoolio66
Hi Everyone, After upgrading to 1.6.1 we noticed that product images are not showing up in the cart. I tried to regenerate product thumbnails, but that didn't help. Screenshots are attached... any suggestions welcomed. Thanks
Rolige
And your theme is compatible with PS 1.6.1.0?
joecoolio66
I don't see why it wouldn't be... we've been running 1.6.0.9 since it came out until yesterday. Everything else looks the same... just missing the thumbnails in the cart
Rolige
If you have a payment theme, consult with the developer, each version of PrestaShop is different and include changes, a theme for PS 1.6.0.9 is not 100% compatible with PS 1.6.1.0, that's for sure. bbolawole
Hello, I have the same problem of product images not showing in cart after my upgrade to 1.6.1. but I am using the default theme. Can anyone please help?
spanishcivilwarstamps
I also have the same problem, images do not show in the shopping cart after upgrading from 1.6.0.14 to 1.6.1. I use the default theme too. Like the others, I've also regenerated the images and this does not solve the issue. Even, when adding new products, the images are still missing from the shopping cart. Please, provide a solution for this problem.

spanishcivilwarstamps
UPDATE: Identical issue for newly created products. Any help please? This is really disturbing.
736Online
I had a similar issue where I had to turn off friendly urls, clean out cache, visit the front page and then go back and turn the friendly urls back on and it worked.
spanishcivilwarstamps
Thanks 7360Online, but your solution did not work for me.
736Online
Leave friendly urls off and then clear cache and add a product to your cart to see if it works. When I look at joecoolio66's site I can see that all of his images are using the proper url rewrite except the ones in the cart. I'd also try to delete .htaccess during this process and let prestashop rewrite it. On his website you can see the home images show up with the /7676-home_fault/imagename.jpg But the cart is trying to pull the entire path img/p/en-default-small_default.jpg vs my cart which shows as 7-small_default/blouse.jpg
spanishcivilwarstamps
I've tried all what you suggest, and nothing has worked. I have the same problem than joecoolio66: all images are using the proper url rewrite except the ones in the cart, which try to pull img/p/en-default-cart_default.jpg Would you have a look? https://www.colectalia.com
PhilCorleone
Guys you need to understand that moving from a version to version with the same theme creates compatibility issues. Consult your theme author first.

Paul C
Lines 578-580 specifically https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/blob/develop/classes/Cart.php#L578 I should add that I also had an issue with tax not showing on the cart when not logged in. I have a fix but it's a pure hack and haven't yet tracked down what's causing it (other than an issue with the context so there isn't a valid address being created to set the tax correctly). MADCAN
Hello Everyone and thanks for being here. I am experiencing 2 issues with my prestashop using this template: http://www.templatemonster.com/prestashop-themes/50522.html I followed everything to the letter, checked which prestashop version to use etc. I was having an issue with the logo, which templatemonster helped me with. Will I was waiting their tech person said I should upgrade the prestashop engine to PrestaShop version 1.6.1.0. She said I should use the 1 click upgrade. Needless to say, the upgrade didn't work as it should so I opened a ticket and their senior tech updated the presta engine and re-installed the template. Cool, so I started the build. RIght the issues. 1. On the homepage, there should be a little icon cart on the bottom right of each product. There is just a black rectangle? (see attached screenshot) and you can reference what it should look like with the url above of the original template. 2. When I add a product to the cart and then proceed to the cart the thumbnail doesn't show. It also doesn't show in the final checkout process. So, I contacted templatemonster again and got this response: The issue you are experiencing, is caused by Prestashop engine, not the theme you have purchased. Please check the following thread or visit Prsetashop official forum for further assistance: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/453410-product-images-not-showing-in-cart/ Well, I went through this topic. Activated/deactivate the friendly urls. Prestashop Fanatic said he was able to resolve the issue: Lines 578-580 specifically https://github.com/P...s/Cart.php#L578 I tried to change line 578 with no luck. So, is there someone who can help me solve this problem? Would really appreciate it? Here is the website: http://www.evelynnaonibiza.com/ Thanks in advance and sorry to be long winded but the more info provided the better? Paul C
Hi Mark. You'll need to replace the entire file with the one from github. Those lines were moved but he context is important too.
MADCAN
Hey Paul C.... It worked. Probably can tell that I am a bit new to this. Thanks alot...but I still have an issue. The featured products on the homepage are still missing the little shopping cart icon. There is just a black triangle! Can you point me in the right direction to resolve this as it looks a bit... In my previous post, there are a couple of screenshots. Thanks in advance. Have a good day all!
