No orders visible in backoffice / smarty problems

Hi there,

At this moment I have some problems with my PS site (1.6.1.0). I checked the English and Dutch forum to find a solution, but I didn't succeed. Hopefully someone can help me. In my prestashop backoffice I can't see any orders. The order page is blank, therefore I turned on the debug mode and I see this:

Could someone give me his/her opinion about this error and what I can do about it? I already cleared the smarty files and in the Dutch forum, they said it could be a module that is giving this error. But I couldn't manage to get rid of this problem.

Have this issue too after upgrading to 1.6.1.0: (all non-official-prestashop modules disabled)

Same problem here.

I was hoping that an update to Prestashop 1.6.1.6 would solve this problem, but no

 

This problem happens everytime after cleaning/empty the cache. So i dont use the cache anymore.

However, so once in a while i have to empty the cache again and the problem returns.

 

For now my solution is, dont use caching and when you dont see any orders, rename your cache-dir to cache.old or simply remove it.

After removal or renaming this cache-dir, your invoices and orders are there again.
