agilisgmbh
Hi Guys, tried to update to latest version via 1Click Autoupdate. Tried 3 times, everytime i got the following error: [ERROR] /onlineshop/MYADMINFOLDER/autoupgrade/latest/prestashop does not exist or is not a folder. (Translated from German language) So, what to do now?I have had a look, and correct. the folder "prestashop" does not exist. Its "prestashop_1.6.1.0" So, i tried to copy content from this folder to "prestahop" but does also not work, as it deletes this folder when starting upgrade again. How can I upgrad to 1.6.1??? regards Marco
rochvill
Same problem here, I really would like to upgrade my store trough this tool because is the recommended one regards!
taphil
And here, when upgrading from 1.6.0.11 to 1.6.1.0. Error: "/autoupgrade/latest/prestashop does not exist or is not a directory." The upgrade process is searching for the files from a wrong directory, the actual directory structure being /autoupgrade/latest/prestashop_1.6.1.0/prestashop No wonder it cannot find the files. This needs to be fixed!
fizzer
Same problem here, I tried to create the folder, but the name of the folder keeps being changed back to /autoupgrade/latest/prestashop_1.6.1.0 what are we supposed to do? lemonpromotions
Same problem here also - I cannot see a way to change the default install folder name without it being re written every time I try to install update ? [ERROR].../autoupgrade/latest/prestashop does not exist or is not a directory.
rochvill
Well guys, I think I have the solution 1.- First run 1-Click auto upgrade 2.- Connect to your ftp, and you'll notice that under "/autoupgrade/latest/" will be a directory called "prestashop_1.6.1.0", inside that directory you'll find the "prestashop" directory, move it to "auto upgrade/latest/" 3.- Run auto upgrade again, this time make sure you select "EXPERT MODE" before continue, and in channel, select "local folder" 4.- VOILA!! the upgrade will be performed as expected WAIT!! at the end of the upgrade, you'll receive a 404 error, it is because the admin folder is renamed after this update, to admin"40584" some random numbers at the end, just connect back to your ftp to change it or to see which one you have, and you're done ENJOY

agilisgmbh
Hi Guys, short update: Like rochvill said: Exactly this is the solution.I tried this yet tonight I think, 1 h after posting this. After trying to understand the updateprocess. This was what I did: deleted all files, open extended add local path, uploaded package, renamed it, start migration (with local path) after that. Update goes smoothly, NO 404 error, all went fine. Shop seems to work again perfectly - no problems faced till now... Keep you updated if anything changes... regards Marco
