konadams
Hi guys, Just need some advice on best way to handle this situation. I have a customer who has ordered a product from my store. I have received payment. I have not sent out or delivered anything as yet. Customer has changed their mind and would like to purchase another item which is of greater value. Should I cancel order and refund money and then ask customer to create new order? Should I cancel order then create a voucher with a price discount that is pretty much the value plus initial funds I reveived? What is the best way to handle this type of situation. Mind you, I would prefer not to refund the money as this adds charges to me by using a payment gateway. Thanks
NemoPS
I think the best way to handle this would be to cancel the order, and make a new one, since you'd have your stock messed up as well, otherwise. But of course, if refunding is a problem, you might as well go for the voucher
