asale
Hi, i've been asked by a customers to make an e-commerce site selling food sauces. They need to sell their sauces to companies and end users as well. Obvioulsy, companies need to buy products at a lower cost compared to end users. How do i achieve that with Prestashop? I mean, i should create a private area for companies with special prices or there is a different and easier approach?Thank you for your attention. Paulito
Hello The easiest way is to use groups Group A = standard price Group B = wholesale price and then have adverts/signage on your site stating that if customers wish to buy your products in large quantities to email you. If they meet your criteria you then assign them to the wholesale group. You could also use the in-built "Multishop" where you have one shop for standard customers and another shop for wholesale customers. Either way you need the wholesale customers to sign-up and pass your criteria to pass the minimum spend to become a wholesale customer. Hope this makes sense and, of course helps.
