ramsharan
Guys, I have upgraded my prestashop 1.6.0.9 to latest 1.6.1.1 using 1 click upgrade. after upgrade all works fine, execpt that from front end,the shop category don;t show up even though i can see the category added in the top horizontal menu module. is there way to fix this. I think the category thing is messed up after upgrade to 1.6.1.1.is this a bug? how can i can fix it so that product cat shows in the front page top menu . The upgraded website is http://istreambox.website/ Looking at the backoffice under categories,I dont see root/products which is what i see in 1.6.0.9, in 1.6.1.1 upgraded site I see only products,no root in front. I checked the mysql table and see there root and categories id there. how to fix this , thanks Ram Edited July 6, 2015 by ramsharan (see edit history)

jackerman
I had a similar issue but it had removed all my catagories from the to horizontal menu. So since it removed mine maybe remove them from horizontal menu save it exit administrator console and then log back in and add them again? Just a thought if you have not tried it? Galar
Hi, I had the same issue after upgrading from 1.6.0.9 to 1.6.1.1rc2. The "top horizontal menu" module was empty. I only re-add my categories to the menu, save changes, and that was all...
Redous
update to this please revert back previous version. Update all modules except for theme configurator and layered navigation. fixes are being worked on for next release.
frank_jarle
I thought to upgrade my dev site from 1.6.0.9 to 1.6.1.1 and the whole horizontal menu is broken. Well it appear as a "text" version. I thought the 1-click was supposed to be safe. I am very glad this is done on the dev-site and not the "live" site. Have a look here how the top page look like: http://screencast.com/t/Bd8TuUnhAe Cheers Frank

Redous
Hi, There is still an issue with the theme configurator and layered navigation I have tried to identify the changes made with the update which I believe is the folder structure as now there is a core folder although I can't see what files inside these folders would affect the theme configurator and layered navigation. For now my suggestion would be to stay on 1.6.0.9 unless you are comfortable with updating and leaving the 2 above modules to the last previous update but do this at your own risk always keep a backup before any updates and don't trust the 1 click upgrade to backup your data completely as I have run into a lot of problems when using this.
