Product display on home page

Hello, I am having some trouble displaying certain products on the home page. I have associated the products that I want to display on the home page with the "Home" category. Category ID has been set to "2" to at the "featured products on home module" and it still does not display any products on the home page. Put me please to the right direction. Many Thnaks

please try to clear shop cache

this module uses caching, so it is possible that you just see old "cached" version with no products in home category

hi, thank you for your reply, I just checked it but I have it set to clear cache everytime something has been modified. I don't even the option clear cache button. what else could it be?
