Creation-Sensation
I am praying someone here is patient and able to help me I have been using Prestashop now for at least a year and loved it. I have learnt so much just by self teaching. On Thursday ish, the site stopped taking payments properly, and it was giving an error message all the time. Someone suggested it was perhaps as it needed updating, so I did..... now my problems really began For a start the homepage has gone crazy, literally. Also on certain browsers it won't show properly and on mobiles people can not select options for a product using the radio buttons. Payments still failing and I have tried for days searching forums and trying to muddle through but I am clueless when it comes to technology and now I am just sat in tears because I don't understand anything technical enough to know what to do. I don't want to close my shop and go with another because I will loose all the data I have collected over all this time. Please can someone help at all
El Patron
Do you have proper back up or does your host have proper back up? If you could get to at least last Thursday before doing upgrade then you can simply hire someone for like 50 euros to fix the payment issue. Creation-Sensation
I tried rolling it back to pre upgrde and it was unsuccessful as the back end worked ok but the front end fully vanished. Now attempting to take it back to the upgrade.

Creation-Sensation
Not sure, I would think I would have had to manually back it up in there? I am at a wall because I literally have no understanding of this kind of stuff and just blindly pressing things (and probably making things worse) but my head now hurts so much it is making me feel sick. I am trying to research if there are just shopping carts that just work without all this struggle as this shop is clearly for someone with more advanced knowledge etc

Creation-Sensation
I kinda feel like I just want to pay someone less stupid to log in and make it work again for me. I will try my hosting in the morning. Thanks
El Patron
don't worry yourself sick over this as it's not worth harming your health. put shop in maint mode if possible until you get resolution. it is worth the time to explain situation to hosting to see if they can help...then you can decide on how to proceed. chin up
Naldinho
As El Patron said pretty much any decent hosting company will make daily backups and allow you to roll back the site to a specific date.My hosting keeps 30 days so all I have to do is contact them and say I want the site and database restored to last Monday and an hour or so later they have restored it to the backup for that date. With respect to the initial issues, it would help if you told us how payments are processed on your store. I know PayPal has some changes coming up but I don't remember what date those were supposed to take effect.
