dpatty
I recently moved my website to a new host. This one does not have memcached setup to run on a port but instead a unix socket. No matter how I try to input the information prestashop rejects it. Any ideas as to how to set this up?

rick0012
Bumping the post here too, I am in a similar situation wherein my host only allows memcached via unix socket. Hope there will be some work around for this
folvera6
Same problem here. Any way to use prestashop memcached via unix socket?
folvera6
I already found the solution, was pretty simple and is not hard coded to prestashop. Here is the information: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/pull/4544/commits/fc97a238a65d24ea1b740a43cf4d6cf95f5abb31 Also I attach my AdminPerformanceController.php that is working with Prestashop 1.6.1.9 AdminPerformanceController.php
