Sample Item Ordering along with Minimum Order Quantity

I have a Prestashop Shop, where I sell the products with Minimum Order Quantity. But now I am in need to add one more functionality of Ordering Sample Product, which will cost 5% higher than the same regular product. Can anyone suggest the way forward?

I can see that the product is not separate, but they are coming from same table, and there is no logic of sample item ordering in Prestashop.

Is it even possible?

This is something I will be adding. I have not had time to think about it, but my plan was just to have the samples as separate products. 

 

Having it as a way to circumvent the minimum quantity is possible but would require changes to the code. I think it is an interesting idea, but the effort might be more than it is worth.
