frankypiccolo
Hi! When in checkout on my site, the paypal module doesn't display the logo. I've checked that the source-link to the image is correct, but it's just a big questionmark. Any ideas?
selectshop.at
Take a look into your FTP if the folder /modules/paypal/img has writing rights (chmod 0755 at least). Take a look if the folder /modules/paypal/img has any images contained in it ?
frankypiccolo
Damn, that was a fast reply! The folder rights are set to 755, and the images are there. That's why it seems so odd... The full path is modules/paypal/views/img/logo/
frankypiccolo
Hi! When in checkout, the PayPal module doesn't display its logo. It's just a big questionmark. I've set the r/w/x rights to 755 of the img folder, with no luck. The image is there, and I can see via my browser inspector that the link path is correct. I'm using the original theme. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Original thread: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/446942-paypal-logo-not-showing-big-questionmark/ Posted it in the wrong forum. parvati
I have the same problem. The picture was there when I installed the Prestashop version 1.6.1.7, then I got a message that the PayPal module had to be updated. I approved the update and after that the logo was replaced by a question mark. I decided to upload the picture mysel (default_horizontal.png), the picture was supposed to be in this folder "www.wembsite.com/views/img/default_logos/default_horizontal.png". The problem I don't have a folder called /views... so, where is that picture then ? The same goes for the other payment pictures. I would like to replace the "bankwire picture" but where is it ? musterAG
I have the same problem (same Version 1.6.1.7). No logo for paypal is shown (only "?"). I would like to upload a picture where all the payment methodes can be seen. Where can I do that? Thanks for answering.
Walrus
Just noticed same problem with logo as others (seeing a "?" mark). It was working fine before. PrestaShop version 1.6.0.14 PayPal v3.11.1 - by PrestaShop I can see: modules/paypal/views/img/default_logos/default_horizontal.png
Walrus
I'm seeing same problem. Latest PayPal v3.11.1 module by PrestaShop. Prestashop 1.6.0.14. Paths are correct. Image is in the correct folder, but PayPal module cannot find image. Image was showing correctly before last update.
tarmogr
I have exactly the same problem. Prestashop 1.6.1.10 and paypal 3.11.1. it is also very dificult to debug because firebug wont show the missing image url. is there really no solution since june 2015???? Its unbelievable that prestashop cant fix most basic issues in their official modules but continue to come out with new useless developments. There are so many elementary things that an owner has to fix and hack before going live.
Walrus
Lots of silly fixes in various threads. ITE, after wasting an hour of two, I found solution in another thread: Edit the path in logos.xml file in the PayPal module. I hard coded path. <LocalPayPalHorizontalSolutionPP>https://www.YOURSITE.com/modules/paypal/views/img/default_logos/default_horizontal.png</LocalPayPalHorizontalSolutionPP> 1
