Tracking a marketing campaign until order conclusion

Hi everyone,

I try to explain what I need to do:

 

a partner of mine has a banner on his site

when a visitor clicks on that banner, he comes on my prestashop ecommerce

I need to track this visit until the conclusion of the order so I can pay my partner the X% of the order because the visitor was his.

 

Any clue about how can that be done?

I was thinking to a token in the URL of the link of the banner. Then I put in a session that token and check if it is present in the "thank you page" of prestashop.

If yes, I do some operations on my database.

If not, I don't.

 

Or maybe, is there any module for Prestashop that already does that?
