pics like in demo

I am using Prestashop 1.6 and I have some pics that I want to display like in the demo shop. I already have a image-slider and also still pics to it's right that are displaying correctly.

 

But I want some other still pics at the bottom of the products - only two pics in one row (ie. one taking about 1/3 width and another taking about 2/3 width). (The demo store has 1. a blond-hair lady wearing sunglasses and 2. a hand bag hanging over someone's hip, where I want mine instead.)

 

However my pics are displaying about 1/3 and 1/3, I suspect. (Each pic is squished [using their aspect ratios] into cells about a 1/3 width.) I made the pics using the same sizes (ie. 383x142px and 777x142px). The settings look the same as the demo pics, but don't look as expected.

 

Can you tell what setup I am missing?
