sarfaraz.r1406
Hi I copied my database from my online store to my local system. I changed all the required tables(ps_shop_url and ps_configuration) and also from the backend to localhost/prestashop. But while opening it gives me This webpage has a redirect looperror. Please help.
PascalVG
Try to clean your cache (Advanced parameters->performance, top right button 'clear cache'), and delete your browser cache and clear cookies for the site, also in advanced parameters, turn temporarily off smarty cache, and set temporarily force compilation to yes. and see if this helps. My 2 cents, pascal. Edited May 27, 2015 by PascalVG (see edit history)
PascalVG
Or maybe the problem is in your .htaccess file: go to Preferences->SEO & URLs - toggle the friendly URL switch. - reload your front page - toggle friendly URL back to original state - reload your front page once more. see if this helps N.B. Use just your domain name to go to the front page, otherwise you may see 404 errors, as you switch between friendly url and non-friendly urls, which have different additions to go to the index page) Edited May 27, 2015 by PascalVG (see edit history)

sarfaraz.r1406
Thanks for the quick response As I told I have imported the database from my online website to localhost. PascalVG
Oops, sorry, short memory... Hmm, what else... - turn off ccc and apache optimization (adv. parameters->optimization, and 'cache' (at bottom of this page). - - What PS version do you use? - Default theme?. If not, try turning to default theme and see if that does work... - SSL ?? (Preferences->General)
PascalVG
Oh yes, Abdulla may have a point. Also try disabling mod_security if not done so.. Pref->SEO
sarfaraz.r1406
Hi I tried all these options but none of them works All my development process is stopped because of this. I am using PS1.6.0.9 with default theme. The files are inside xampp/htdocs/prestashop. In SEO & URLs when I give just localhost, the website opens but neither the css nor js files are loading. I am not getting any clue.
Eoin
I tried all of these solutions and a million more. My page says 404 at the moment, which is a big improvement. The homepage is still redirect loop. https://squareballoon.co.uk/portfolio/ticktockjewellery.com/gb/
