[SOLVED]Infinite redirect loop after moving from subfolder to root

Hi,

I've recently upgraded my shop.

I did it under lawendowykredens.pl/nowy_sklep

It worked like a charm so I've decided to set it as default shop.

I've set my domain to point directly to subfolder /nowy_sklep.

But after i've changed it I got infinite redirect loop and now it looks like lawendowykredens.pl/nowy_sklep/nowy_sklep/nowy_sklep... etc

 

What am I doing wrong?

should i change some database values?

EDIT:

Had to turn delet htaccess and change base url BEFORE redirecting domain.

Hi,

 

I have similar problem.

Installed Prestashop in subfolder (http://www.mydomain.co.za/folder)

All worked well during set-up because I used full URL with subfolder to access Front-office and Back-office

 

Now I want to go live and redirect domain to subfolder

I created server redirect from / to http://www.mydomain.co.za/folder but this results in infinite redirect loop http://www.mydomain.co.za/folder/folder/folder/........

 

SEO & URL settings as follows:

Shop domain = mydomain.co.za

SSL domain = mydomain.co.za

Base URI = /folder/

 

I deleted .htaccess and recreated by switching Friendly URL to 'No' and then back to 'Yes'

 

Can somebody help as I am not sure what to change to fix this problem
